Despite a rigorous training programme started in February, the team were realistic in believing they were unlikely to break Andy Wilkinson’s End to End record of 41 hours (besides the publicity would be too much to bare), and a challenging yet achievable target of two weeks was set, averaging a mere (?!) 60 miles a day.
The dates have been set – on 15 August 2009 the team will be setting off from Lands End, finishing on the Sunday of August Bank Holiday weekend.
